Noise-OK-Please believes in giving its members a space and wants them to feel free in this online jam room. So, instead of 'Terms & condiitons', we have few Rules and Guidelines that one needs to follow which is to ensure that the quality of this website is maintained.

Wall Posts & user comments

What you can do?
You may post anything on the wall & comments section that you want others to know. This may include notifications regarding gigs, album launch of your band, or any interesting link you stumbled upon over the internet (of course something thats related to music only). Besides you may ask questions to fellow musicians and also answer questions of those looking for help.
Start by providing a brief introduction about yourself on the wall.

What you cannot do?

You cannot post anything that may look like an advertisement. Any member who is found using THE WALL or the user comments section to advertise will be banned permanently without any warning.
As of now, the site doesnt accept advertisements from third parties but you may drop a line to the webmaster asking for permission. Visit contacts section for more details.

DO NOT SPAM. Members found spamming will be banned permanently without any warning.

DO NOT Publish your contact information on THE WALL. You may however, post them as comments to other musicians.

Sharing useful and relevant links is encouraged. But..
*Any attempt to SPAM THE WALL with the intent to divert traffic to other links will result in immediate ban.
*Please refrain from posting links to torrents, porn sites or websites promoting objectionable content and illegal activities
*Please refrain from posting any material which, you do not have the permission to distribute electronically. In case you do, please observe all copyright laws and consider giving credit to the original author.

Get friendly with people, but don't be rude. A member found behaving in a rude manner will be warned not more than 3 times before a ban is imposed.
Rude behaviour also includes sarcastic comments.
Use of Profane and abusive language will not be tolerated and will amount to strict action.

Avoid posting in CAPS .. it annoys the readers.

No canvassing to sell your material, particularly if you are associated with a music shop.

But as a musician you can notify people about gigs, events and album launches. Musicians are allowed to advertise their music for free!.. but please do not spam. Write in to the webmaster if you want an advertisement space. It is competely free. However it is not binding on the webmaster to accept all such requests.

Help us moderate
On THE WALL as well as on the user comments section, you will find a button to report abuse. Use it to bring to our notice any of the above mentioned things.

User Profiles

User are allowed to Create their musicians profiles which will be visible to other registered members. The are no separate profiles for Music Enthusiasts(ME). ME may provide only whatever is applicable to you.

Rules are not as strict as those for the walls. But it would be appreciated if you can keep it clean :) .
Avatars: As far as possible use your own picture. If it is copyright protected, please do not use it without prior permission of the owner. Use a clean picture.

These guidelines may be modfied from time to time.

Lastly, this community is moderated by a human so post wisely!
